Apo Kardias, LLC is dedicated to improving lives through partnerships and community events that foster compassion. We provide resources, guidance, and meaningful support programs to individuals in need, focusing on empowering adults with disabilities, promoting independence, and creating lasting positive change within the community.
Apo Kardias, LLC is dedicated to creating meaningful opportunities for adults with disabilities (Autism, intellectual development disabilities, sensory needs, communication difficulties, etc.) through structured, real-world life skills training. Our support programs are designed to foster independence, confidence, and personal growth.
This initiative is crucial because there is a growing population of adults with disabilities, and a significant gap in day programming and life skills training impacts not only their lives but also those of their caregivers and families.
We offer our program twice a year for 16 weeks:
8/24/26 - 12/17/26 (with one week off for Thanksgiving)
1/11/27 – 5/13/27 (with one week off for Spring Break)
The program is held four times a week from 9 AM to 3 PM in small group ratios, with each day dedicated to a specific executive functioning skill/area:
MONDAYS – Music & Movement
TUESDAYS – Meal Prep and Art
WEDNESDAYS - Finance and Living Skills
THURSDAYS - Computers and Social Skills
We perform pre and post-tests for standardized scores and ask parents/caregivers to identify one main goal to achieve. These core services, part of our charitable outreach, provide assistance in improving daily living skills, enhancing social communication, offering technology training with structured routines, and vocational training to ensure work readiness.
We measure success through attendance, participation, skill growth (pre and post assessments), independence milestones, family feedback, confidence, and engagement.
This program not only helps build long-term independence and provides structure with safety in mind, but it also reduces caregiver burnout, allowing caregivers to work while supporting not only the participants but also their families.
At Apo Kardias, LLC, we believe every individual deserves the opportunity to thrive, gain independence, and feel empowered in their community. We invite you to explore our site to learn more about our mission and the people we serve through our various community events. We hope you feel inspired by our work and welcome you to join us on this journey.
